Current Tenants


Nielsen Property Managers, Inc will always try to provide as many resources for our tenants to ensure a smooth residency from leasing to move-out.


Tenants can sign-up for the Online Tenant Portal to conveniently access their accounts at any time, any place. Rent payments, maintenance requests, updated contact information, and more can be submitted online or through the app.

Access Tenant Portal
6 or 12 Month Term
  • Minimum lease terms are six or twelve months for all tenants to begin residency.
  • Leases are not automatically renewed.
Month-to-Month
  • Leases will automatically switch to month-to-month terms after they expire.
  • Tenants can continue a month-to-month term for the entire duration of their occupancy.
Lease Renewals
  • Lease renewals are not required, but can be requested if desired.
  • Requests must be submitted below or via email to the Leasing Department or Property Manager.

Once the lease expires, terms will automatically switch to month-to-month, allowing tenants to vacate when desired. Tenants locked into a 6 or 12 month lease must fulfill the duration of the term.


Lease renewals may result in a rent increase to follow the current market rates. Units are only eligible for a rent increase after one year of occupancy. Rent increase rates are no more than 10% of the current rent amount.

MOVE-OUT STEPS


Submit 30-Day Notice
  • Tenants must submit a 30-day notice with their intent to vacate.
  • Notices must be submitted in writing via the Online Tenant Portal, email, or in-person.
Schedule Inspection
  • Pre-Move Out Inspections are optional but can be scheduled with the Property Manager.
  • Appointments should be scheduled close to vacating when most items have moved.
Return Keys
  • Keys can be given to the Property Manager during the final inspection.
  • Keys must be turned into the office, either in-person or through our after-hours drop box.

Schedule Pre-Move Out Inspection


Tenants can choose to schedule a pre-move out inspection with their Property Manager prior to moving out. While this is optional, inspections allow the Property Manager and tenant to walk through the unit together.


Damage, dirt/grime, and needed repairs can be specified to grant tenants the  opportunity to return the unit in acceptable condition and maximize the security deposit refund.

Security Deposit Refunds


Security deposit refunds and itemized closing statements will be mailed to the provided forwarding address within 21 days after the move-out date. To discuss alternative delivery options, please contact Accounts Payables at ap@nielsenproperty.com.


Questions, comments, or concerns regarding the closing statement and refund must be submitted in writing to the assigned Property Manager. Calls or in-person inquiries will be referred to submit all correspondence in writing.
